Korea Social Service Walk

While in South Korea Mark Overlowe, check out his blog here,  and I made the trek to Korea Social Service, Inc. They are located on the northern outskirts of Seoul.   We took took the Subway to Suyu Station and walked the rest, well, almost all the way.  We decided to try and take a bus but it made a wrong turn and we could not communicate with the driver, so we got off and walked the rest of the way.

We walked back to the Subway station and had lunch at McDonalds.  I previously posted a picture of the Happy Meal Toys that I took at the McDonalds.  I wonder what the locals thought of us :)

The track shown on the maps is not completely accurate.  I was loosing the satellite on the GPS and I had to connect each track with the previous.  You see some strange straight lines, this is where the good tracks were connected together.  I also noticed that the photo on Google Maps and in Google Earth do not match up right.  We were walking along the street but the photos make it look like we were walking through buildings.  I think that the photos may not be lined up correctly but this is not surprising being that Google does not have the roads programed in their system for South Korea yet.

The links at the bottom of the post will take you to the route and pictures in several different formats.  Give it a try and let me know what you think.
