I visited the Cleveland Botanical Gardens today.  They have just started their Orchid Maniaand had a special pre-opening to the public photographers event where you could bring in tripods and other camera gear that is normally not permitted.  More photos are on myZenfolio Cleveland Botanical Garden – Orchid Mania Photo Album.

Today was Pinewood Derby Day for Cub Scout Pack 67 in Twinsburg, Ohio.    You have seen me post other photos of the car in progress of being built on my 365 Project HERE.

In Northeast Ohio the change in seasons is dramatic.  Look at the two photos below, the were taken from almost the same spot in 2 different seasons of the year.

The kids were off of school for a snow day today.  I took the day off to be with them and took them to the sled hill near the intersection of SR-91 & SR-82 in Twinsburg for a few runs down the hill.

The snow was about 6″ deep and we were the first people to be there after the storm.  So, the sled did not go through the snow very well and got stuck a few times until we made a path of compacted snow.

The boys had a blast, and want to do it again!

I started thinking about doing some HDR and I found this great tutorial on HDR over at Kelby TV.

I decided to start a PROJECT 365.  This has been going on over the Internet for several years now. You take a photo a day and post it online.  You can vary the theme and take a photo of anything you would like.  I will begin on 01 January 2010.
