Over the weekend I acted as the Safety Coordinator for the MS BIKE RIDE Pedal to the Point which is a fund raiser for the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National MS Society. This is my 20th year in a row volunteering for the fundraiser. This year we had over 2500 bikes on the route. I believe that this is the largest number of riders in the 25 year history of the event. The Bike MS Pedal to the Point is a unique cycling adventure organized by the Ohio Buckeye Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society that challenges riders of all ages, level and abilities while also raising money to end the devastating effects of multiple sclerosis. To make the bike tour a success, we need your help. So, come be a part of the largest organized cycling event in the United States!
The Ride goes from Berea to Sandusky on Day One and the reverse on Day Two. This is 75 miles each way plus there is also an option to add an additional 25 miles on Day One. The route is on rural roads and some state highways. Plus there are Rest Stops and a Lunch Stop on the Route.
