Chagrin Falls

The boys and I made a trip to the Village of Chagrin Falls over the weekend.  I wanted to test out the Hoya 77mm Neutral Density ND-400 X, 9 Stop Multi-Coated Glass Filter I recently purchased.  I had not used it yet and wanted to try it out.  I got it be able to slow down my shutter speed in bright daylight and to take fireworks photos.

Tom Bricker had a nice writeup on the ND Filters over at the Disney Tourist Blog on the market and briefly discussed fireworks and how he shot them using it.  He bought the Hoya filter and recommended it for others to invest in.  The funny thing is I bought this filter and the day it arrived I loaned it to a friend who was on his way to Walt Disney World.

I like the look of the water in these photos.  It looks like glass and everything is smoothed over.

Ordered 16×20 Prints

I noticed that AdormaPix is currently doing a special deal on 16×20 prints until the end of April.  They are only $5 each.  So, I had to order some prints.  I ordered the 3 prints below. Can’t wait for them to arrive!
