We made a trip to the Cleveland Autoshow over the weekend. While there we visited the Chevrolet Booth and saw the 2020 Corvette. This is the next gen mid engine Corvette. It is one great looking car. Lots of horsepower, handling, and great looks.

Last night (Wednesday 2020-02-26) I attended the Twinsburg High School Basketball vs Akron Kenmore-Garfield High School BOYS Basketball Game. This was an OHSAA Tournament Game. the bracket is on the OHSAA Website at this link.

We made a trip to the Cleveland Autoshow over the weekend. While there we visited Camp Jeep and saw the new Jeep Gladiator Mojave. Fun looking truck with lots of great features. It is the firs Jeep that is Desert Rated.

The Twinsburg Community Theatre had a kids only production the weekend of Feb 22-23 of Disney Frozen Kids. The description of the show from the Community Theatre is below.
Do you want to build a snowman? You’ll love this fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation of the celebrated animated film. Join Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven, and all of your favorite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love. Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as “Love Is an Open Door,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and “Let It Go,” as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production. This production of Frozen KIDS is sure to prove that “some people are worth melting for.”
Twinsburg Community Theatre

I have been taking photos of the Theatre Productions since 2014. This made my 13th show I have photographed for the Theatre. It is a wonderful experience for me to use my skills to capture these moments for the actors, actresses and their families. We made a trip to the Cleveland Autoshow over the weekend. While there we visited the Honda Booth and saw the Honda Civic Type R. This is one great car. Lots of horsepower, handling, and great looks. I personally own a Honda Civic Si Sedan.
One of the best things about the Type R styling are the Red Honda Badges. They really set the car apart from all the other Hondas. I wonder what they would look like on my Si?

We made a trip to the Cleveland Autoshow over the weekend. While there we visited Camp Jeep. It is always a fun time in Camp Jeep. We got to take a ride in a Gladiator and there is a photo of the infotainment system showing we were at a 30 degree uphill incline 🙂 So much fun. They have Wrangler, Gladiators and Cherokees running the course.

On Thursday (20 Feb 2020) the Twinsburg High School & RBC Middle School Orchestra Benefit Concert held their annual benefit concert. The orchestra sounded fabulous.
And then on Friday night the Twinsburg High School Orchestra traveled to Hudson High School to compete in the Ohio Music Education Association in the Large Group Contest. They completed in the AA Category and earned the “Superior Rating” which is the highest rating they can achieve. The is a great accomplishment. I attended the contest and they sounded incredible.
Our son has played in the orchestra since 4th grade. He plays the violin. You can see him in some of the photos below.

I took my Platypod to a High School Basketball Game to see if I could get any interesting shots. I set up under the basket with my Canon 5D Mark II along with the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS Lens mounted on a Platypod Ultra with a small Ball Mount Head. I also had a wired remote to trigger the camera within easy reach. You can see my setup above.
I used this setup in addition to my normal sports shooting setup consisting of the Canon 7D Mark II, Canon EF 70-200mm Lens.

On Friday Night (14 Feb 2020) I attended and took photos at the Twinsburg High School Boys Basketball Games vs Wadsworth. It was also Senior Night for the Basketball Team and the Cheerleaders.
I took photos of the seniors and their families after they were introduced. It was a great night to honor these “kids”. Photos are below.
