With the end of 2020 comes my annual calendar of photos. This is a Project 365 I started 8 years ago. Every day I take a photo with my iPhone and it gets added to the calendar. Below you can find all 8 years worth of photos. I create a square poster at the end of the year.
I use Collect Photo App to create the monthly calendar. This is an iPhone app and it is easy to use because virtually 100% of the photos for this “Project” are taken on the iPhone. Once I get the monthly calendar done it is imported in to Adobe Lightroom and I create the poster with a Print Template I created. The text at the bottom was created in Pixelmator.
On Christmas Eve and into Christmas day in Northeastern Ohio we were hit by a winter storm. By Christmas morning had 8-10″ of snow on the ground. On Christmas Eve I took a trip to see the lights and take photos at Twinsburg Township Square and Twinsburg City Hall. The photos are presented below. Merry Christmas to all!
Merry Christmas! I hope all of your dreams come true. We are wishing we could have spent Christmas in Walt Disney World but that did not happen this year. This photo is from a few years ago. This was taken at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. This is probably the largest Christmas Tree I have ever seen. The Lobby is 5 stories and they can get a very large tree in there. Enjoy!
This photo was taken on our last trip to Walt Disney World in June 2019. At this point due to pandemic we do not plan on returning until 2022.
The Liberty Belle is a 17 min trip around Tom Sawyer Island. You will see a number of sights along the journey including: An early American settlement, An idyllic Native American village, Harper’s Mill, Fort Langhorn, Wilson’s Cave Inn, and Woodland Animals.
Have you ride on the Liberty Belle? What did you think of it?
My family has visited Walt Disney World many times. Usually once a year, but that all changed with COVID. Our last trip was scheduled for June 2020, but we canceled that trip and at this point we wont be going back until 2022. But, a few years ago we went during the Christmas Holiday. These photos are from the Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade. Enjoy!
On Tuesday this week a large winter storm hit northeast Ohio. In Twinsburg we received about 16″ of snow. Unfortunately I had all day work meetings on the day of the storm so I could not get out and take in the beauty and get photos. On Saturday, the day I am writing this, I headed the Summit Metro ParksLiberty Park to get out of the house and take some photos. I hiked the Ledges Trail. I have hiked this trail many times and I especially like to visit right after a large snow storm. Todays visit was not as beautiful because it was several days past the storm, but there was still beauty to see. This area has rock outcroppings.
