Tinker Bell in Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade

Have you seen Tinker Bell in Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade? If not, you nee dot pay attention the next time you are at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. It is easy to miss her as she sits on the back of a float. Her expressions and demeanor is incredible. Below are a few photos I captured in June 2019.

Hopefully this will brighten your day during this dark period of time. Enjoy!

Visiting Waterfalls

So, what can you do while we are #SocialDistancing ? The parks are not closed, at least not yet, so the boys and I headed out to check out a couple of waterfalls. Yesterday and overnight there was a rain, so that made for a good bit of water at the waterfalls.

The first stop was Brandywine Falls in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the second stop was the Great Falls of Tinkers Creek in the Bedford Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks.

Some photos are below, please let me know what you think of them.

Stay safe and enjoy!

Stroll around the World Showcase

After the fireworks show at Epcot in Walt Disney World I took a stroll around the World Showcase. One of my favorite things to do is to walk around the World Showcase. On this particular night I had my camera and took some photos. Take a look at them and let me know you think about them. Do they make you smile? Do they make you sad because Walt Disney World is closed?

Hopefully this will brighten your day during this dark period of time. Enjoy!

Splash Mountain

I took this photo at the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. This is main hill of Splash Mountain. This photo was taken from an observation area where people stand to watch their family members come down the hill..

Look into my eyes

This is one of my favorite places to go. Hopefully we get to go back this summer.

As you probably already know due to COVID-19 Walt Disney World (and most of the USA and world) is closed down for at least 2 weeks.

I took this photo in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. This is Maleficent in the Festival of Fantasy Parade. She breaths fire at certain points during the parade but I thought this photo showed personality and screamed to me “Look into my eyes”.

Hopefully this will brighten your day during this dark period of time. Enjoy!

I took this photo in Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park a few years back shortly after they opened this area. Pandora come alive at night with a glow that is indescribable and you have to see it to believe it.

Summit County Metroparks – Liberty Park

What do you do when you are supposed to “Social Distance” during this crazy COVID-19 Situation. Well, I headed over the the Summit County Metroparks Liberty Park to get out int he fresh air and occupy some time. It is not an ideal day, it was about 40 degrees and overcast. But, the hike was great. I hiked the Ledges Trail and then hiked the Black Bear Trail.

I had never been on the Black Bear Trail. It is a 2 mile hike through the woods. Not much to look at other than trees 🙂 The Metropark is doing some work along the trail to restore some areas and make them more suited for wildlife. Hopefully they will finish it this summer.

My photos from today are shown below.

Enjoy!

This past weekend I presented at the 2nd Harwood Motors Off Season Seminar (I posted about this in January) entitled “Geek Out with Photography and Tech” . I created the slideshow below and then presented photos to illustrate the points I talked about. In the future I hope to expand on these points and present them as blog posts here on this site.
