How I Shoot Sports

On Wednesday evening, 28 Sept 2022, I presented “How I Shoot Sports” at the Twinsburg Public Library. It was a very well attended event with people wanting to know how to create better sports photos. Most of them were parents of athletes.

Below you will find the slides and I have provided captions with links and some explanations. of course, it is hard to convey everything we talked about in this blog post, so feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions as I am always willing to help.

Building the Vyper Robust Steel Pro

I purchased the Vyper Robust Steel Pro a few weeks back and finally got it assembled and took a time lapse video of the process. This is the best built roll around chair/stool for the garage and other work areas. It is very well built with heavy gauge steel and large casters that roll over just about anything! I look forward to using this for many years to come.

Twinsburg High School Girls Soccer Youth Night

Photos from Saturday nights Twinsburg High School vs Hathaway Brown Soccer Match are now online.

It was also youth night, so Twinsburg AC and Twinsburg AYSO Soccer Programs had players at the game. This is one of the best nights of the year for Soccer in Twinsburg.

Never Forget

In March of 2019 I visited New York with the Twinsburg High School Orchestra and Marching Band. We visited the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.

It was a truly moving experience and all the emotions came right back. We can never forget this day, it changed our nation and the world. Every year we must remind ourself of the emotions and the feelings we had so that we do not repeat it.

Walt Disney World Fireworks

This summer we visited Walt Disney World for the first time since 2019. we have been visiting regularly every year for a while. But took a little time off when COVID hit. This was the first time we had seen the Disney Enchantment Fireworks Show at the Magic Kingdom. I was very happy with the color version of this photo.

But, then I decided that I would try a B&W Conversion. I am very pleased with the results. I used Nik Silver Efex from the Nik Collection to make the conversion.

Twinsburg High School vs Aurora Football Game

On Friday night I attended the Twinsburg High School vs Aurora Football Game to capture the action. This was Military and First Responders Night and the Twinsburg Rotary Club was there and supplied flags to Twinsburg to carry onto the field and also decorated the stadium with flags. It was a great night and made everyone proud to be an American.
