The Twinsburg Tigers earned a pair of victories over the Revere Minutemen on Wednesday, August 26, as the schools’ junior varsity and varsity girls soccer teams met at Twinsburg High School.

The JV Tigers opened the evening with a close 2–1 victory before the varsity team completed the sweep with a 3–1 win.

Twinsburg’s varsity victory was its second in a row and lifted the Tigers’ record to 2–1 early in the 2026 season. Revere moved to 1–2–1 with the loss.

The Tigers entered Wednesday’s match after splitting their first two contests. Following a season-opening defeat, Twinsburg responded with a convincing 4–0 shutout of Chagrin Falls on August 19. The victory over Revere gave the Tigers consecutive wins and eight goals across those two matches.

Wednesday’s doubleheader began with the JV match at 5 p.m., followed by the varsity contest at 7 p.m. Both games were played at Twinsburg High School, according to the schools’ published athletic schedules.

The two wins provided a strong night for the entire Twinsburg girls soccer program. The narrow JV result and the varsity team’s two-goal margin reflected a competitive evening between the neighboring Northeast Ohio schools.

Twinsburg returns to action Saturday with JV and varsity road matches against Mentor. Revere is scheduled to host Avon Lake that afternoon.
