Game Recap: Twinsburg Tigers Take Down Wadsworth 6-3

Yesterday I had the chance to shoot an exciting high school baseball matchup—this time between the Twinsburg Tigers and Wadsworth on a beautiful spring afternoon. The energy was high, the plays were gritty, and the Tigers came away with a solid 6-3 victory. As always, it was a blast capturing these young athletes giving it their all on the diamond.

The game had plenty of action from the first pitch, but what stood out most were the intense basepath battles and the raw athleticism on display. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day that really tell the story:

This one captures a textbook slide at second base with a perfect throw coming in. The runner is kicking up a cloud of infield mix while the infielder stays focused on making the play.
This shows just how physical baseball can get at this level. A Twinsburg runner slides hard into the bag with dirt exploding everywhere as the Wadsworth defender applies the tag. Moments like these remind me why I love shooting baseball—the speed, the dirt, and the split-second decisions.
And of course, you can’t have a baseball gallery without some pitching action. This shot of the Twinsburg hurler mid-delivery shows the power and focus these guys bring to the mound. Clean mechanics and a determined look—exactly what you want from your starter.

The Tigers put together a strong all-around performance to secure the win. Both teams played hard and showed great sportsmanship throughout. It’s always rewarding to document these early-season games as the squads start finding their rhythm.
