What a way to celebrate Senior Night! I had the privilege of photographing the Twinsburg Tigers varsity softball team as they hosted Field High School in a non-conference showdown at home. The game lived up to the hype, turning into an epic 11-inning battle that ended with the Tigers walking off with a thrilling 4-3 victory.

The Twinsburg squad showed incredible resilience against a tough Field team. Both sides traded leads and defensive gems throughout the long afternoon, but it was the Tigers who found a way to push across the winning run in the bottom of the 11th. The energy on the field was electric—especially knowing it was Senior Night, a special moment to honor the graduating players who have poured their hearts into the program.

Beyond the on-field drama, it was heartwarming to see the seniors recognized before the game. These young athletes have grown so much over their high school careers, and moments like this remind us why we love covering local sports. A huge congratulations to the entire Twinsburg program for the gutsy performance!
