Another beautiful evening at the diamond for some Suburban League baseball! On Thursday, April 23, I headed over to Twinsburg to photograph the varsity matchup between the host Twinsburg Tigers and the visiting Hudson Explorers.
The game delivered plenty of excitement from the first pitch to the final out. Both teams played hard, with strong pitching, aggressive baserunning, and some highlight-reel defensive plays. In the end, Hudson pulled out the victory with a final score of Twinsburg 7, Hudson 10.
The Tigers showed solid fundamentals all night—good contact at the plate and some nice defensive stops—but the Explorers’ timely hitting and pitching depth proved to be the difference. It was one of those classic early-season conference battles where every run felt important and the energy stayed high throughout.
Here are a few of my favorite shots from the game:

All the full-resolution photos from this game are now live in the gallery on my site. If you see an athlete you know in the shots, feel free to tag them or let me know!

A big thank you to all the players, coaches, and families from both Twinsburg and Hudson for making these games so enjoyable to photograph. High school sports continue to deliver great stories and incredible effort every time I show up with the camera.
If you’re a parent, coach, or athlete from either team and would like a print or digital file of any shot, feel free to reach out!
Until next time!
