Twinsburg Blanks Jackson 3–0 in Girls Varsity Soccer on Youth Night
Twinsburg hosted Jackson in girls varsity soccer on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Twinsburg High School’s Tiger Stadium. After a scoreless first half, the Tigers scored three times in the second half to earn a 3–0 victory.
The match was part of Twinsburg’s 23rd annual Youth Soccer Night, an event that invited players from Twinsburg AC Soccer and Twinsburg AYSO to wear their team jerseys, form a pregame tunnel for the varsity teams, play halftime exhibition games, and receive concession vouchers. Youth Night is my favorite soccer event of the year because it brings the youngest players onto the same field as the high-school teams and makes the connection between generations of Twinsburg soccer easy to see.
On the field, Twinsburg wore blue and Jackson wore white. The photographs follow the match from the opening setup and midfield challenges to attacking pressure near goal, a diving save, second-half scoring opportunities, and the Tigers’ celebration.
The result improved Twinsburg’s record to 6–4, while Jackson moved to 4–4–2. Both teams are scheduled to return to action Wednesday, September 30, at 7:00 p.m.: Twinsburg travels to Nordonia, and Jackson travels to GlenOak.
