Lights on for the Class of 2020

High School Stadiums all over Ohio were lit up for the Class of 2020 after the announcement from Governor DeWine that school was not going to go back in session for the remainder of the school year. The lights were turned on at 20:20 (8:20 PM) for 20 minutes and 20 seconds on April 20th. Of course, Twinsburg High School participated in the display for the Seniors. The Ohio Department of Education made an announcement on their Twitter Feed in this Tweet about the event.

In addition to lighting up the Stadium the School District coordinated a parade of Seniors around town led by the Twinsburg Police Department. They arrived at the Twinsburg High School Stadium shortly after the lights were turned on.

I went to the stadium to capture the lights document the event. Below you will find photos from the stadium and a video of the Seniors arriving with the Police Escort.

Enjoy!
