Who likes taking photographs in the rain? I know I like taking sports photos in the rain. I prefer it to warmer and not in 30s, bit it is fun. It adds a great look to the photos and something that most people will never see as they run from the rain to the cars or homes.

It takes a little preparation to take photos in the rain. I use camera gear that is “weather sealed”, it is not water proof but it can handle some water. In addition I put a rain coat on the camera 🙂 I have a cover from LensCoat that I use.

At the Twinsburg vs Kenston Football Game a few weeks ago it started raining as the band took the field at halftime. I was able to capture some great images of the band members. Some of my favorite are below.
